Detailed Description

Philodendron ‘Rojo Congo’ p.p.
Philodendrons are popular houseplants because of their beauty and ease of care. The new hybrid ‘Rojo Congo’ is a medium-to-large, selfheading (non-climbing type) with very thick, large, glossy leaves. The leaves are red when they initially open and mature to dark green with a red overtone. Leaf stems are bright red. ‘Rojo Congo’ makes an excellent specimen plant for interiorscapes. Philodendrons act as air purifiers in the home removing toxins from the air. Grow in well-drained soil in a partially sunlit location.

Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.

Partial sun or shade, grows to 3' in container, minimum temperature indoors 60°.
