Mandevilla Sun Parasol‘Giant Crimson’ p.p.
This vining mandevilla is a sensational non-stop bloomer from May until frost. The giant (4”+), deep red flowers have bright yellow throats and are a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies. The vigorous vine has deep green glossy leaves and makes an attractive flowering screen on arbors, trellises or entryway latticework. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil. Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks during the growing season to encourage continual blooming. An evergreen landscape plant in warmer climates, ‘Giant Crimson’ can be grown as an annual in the north or bring it inside once the temperatures reach 40°F.
Hardy Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
