Detailed Description

Allamanda catharitica ‘Cherries Jubilee’
Sweetly fragrant, cherry-colored, trumpet-shaped flowers bloom prolifically on this tropical evergreen vine. The 3” blossoms are the color of cherry sorbet with a deep burgundy throat. When grown in the north, it blooms during the warm summer months, but tends to bloom year-round in tropical climates. Since the quick-growing vine reaches 5-10’, it’s best to grow on a trellis or arbor. ‘Cherries Jubilee’ makes a wonderful container plant when grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Fertilize bi-weekly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer to encourage continual blooming. The flowers attract hummingbirds.

Hardy Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.

Full sun, grows to 5+' in container, minimum temperature indoors 60°, blooms in spring, summer and fall.
