Detailed Description

Eranthemum wattii
Clusters of cheery violet-purple blossoms poke out of the deep green foliage on this delightful summer-blooming plant. This easy grower blooms during the longer days of the year and continues to flower into the fall. Once the flowering period is over, plants can be pruned any time from fall to late winter but allow it to put on new growth before the next summer's blooming season. Eranthemum wattii is perfect for the small space container gardener since it has a compact growth habit and bright purple blooms.

Hardy Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.

Full or partial sun, grows to 1-2' in container, minimum temperature indoors 45°, blooms in summer and fall.
