Citrus x tangelo 'Minneola'

Detailed Description

Citrus x tangelo ‘Minneola’ “Honeybell”
“Honeybell” is the common name for sweet, juicy ‘Minneola’ citrus fruits. A hybrid of Dancy mandarin and Duncan grapefruit, ‘Minneola’ has large orange fruit with a characteristic knob at the top giving them a bell-shaped appearance. The bright orange fruit peels easily and has a fine-grained orange flesh with few seeds and lots of sweet juice. The fruit matures from December to February. Pollinate with Meyer Lemon or a mandarin for optimum fruit set. “Honeybells” are delicious when eaten fresh and their juice is one of the most flavorful of any citrus. We are selling ‘true-to-name’ grafted plants that will bloom sooner.

Hardy Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.

Full sun, grows to 2-3' in container, minimum temperature indoors 50°, intermittent bloomer.

Fragrant!

We are sorry, due to agricultural regulations, citrus cannot be shipped to TX, FL, AZ, CA.
