Calathea loesneri 'Lotus Pink'

Detailed Description

Calathea loeseneri ‘Lotus Pink’
Tall pink flower spikes make ‘Lotus Pink’ one of the most attractive Calatheas. This member of the “prayer plant” family has large light green leaves with a lighter mid-rib vein and velvet-textured leaf stems. A pale pink, lotus-shaped flower emerges on a tall flower spike. Blooming season is spring to fall. Once the plant is mature, you can expect 5-6 flower spikes on a single plant. This upright grower prefers shady locations in moist, loose soil.

Hardy Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.

Partial sun to shade, grows to 3' in container, minimum temperature indoors 60°, intermittent bloomer.
